Transfer IRDA License

To transfer an IRDA license, follow these steps in order:

1. Resign from the Current Agency:

   • Submit your resignation to the agency you are currently working for.

2. Apply for NOC from Your Present Company:

   • Fill out the ‘Annexure A’ form, which includes details of the policies handled by you, such as:
     • Name of the Policy Owner
     • Address
     • Mobile Number
     • Policy Number
     • Plan Number
     • Mode of Payment
     • Premium Amount

3. Obtain NOC from Your Current Company:

   • Your present company will issue the No Objection Certificate (NOC) within 90 days.

4. Apply to IRDA for License Transfer:

   • Submit a copy of the NOC along with the required application to IRDA.

5. IRDA License Transfer Processing:

   • After submitting the application, the transfer process will be completed within 15 days.

यह सर्कुलर बीमा एजेंसियों और कॉर्पोरेट एजेंसियों के लाइसेंस ट्रांसफर से संबंधित है। इसमें निम्नलिखित महत्वपूर्ण बिंदु शामिल हैं:

1. एक वर्ष की पाबंदी:

   • किसी भी एजेंट/कॉर्पोरेट एजेंट को उनके लाइसेंस जारी होने की तारीख से एक वर्ष तक ट्रांसफर की अनुमति नहीं होगी।

2. न्यूनतम व्यवसाय मानदंड:

   • ट्रांसफर से पहले एजेंट/कॉर्पोरेट एजेंट को अपने मौजूदा बीमाकर्ता के लिए न्यूनतम व्यवसाय मानदंड (Minimum Business Norms) पूरा करना होगा।

3. "No Objection Certificate" (NOC) जारी करने की समय-सीमा:

   • बीमाकर्ताओं को एजेंट/कॉर्पोरेट एजेंट द्वारा अनुरोध प्राप्त होने के एक सप्ताह के भीतर NOC जारी करना होगा।
   • यदि NOC जारी नहीं किया जाता है, तो बीमाकर्ता को कारण ऑनलाइन पोर्टल पर दर्ज करना होगा और एक माह के भीतर एजेंट को सूचना देनी होगी।
   • यदि बीमाकर्ता एक सप्ताह में कोई कारण नहीं दर्ज करता और एक माह की समय-सीमा बीत जाती है, तो NOC स्वचालित रूप से स्वीकृत माना जाएगा।

4. धोखाधड़ी और गंभीर शिकायतें:

   • यदि किसी एजेंट/कॉर्पोरेट एजेंट के खिलाफ धोखाधड़ी या गंभीर शिकायत पाई जाती है, तो ट्रांसफर रोकने का प्रावधान रहेगा।

यह सर्कुलर तत्काल प्रभाव से लागू होगा और 2 सितंबर, 2009 के IRDA के पूर्व सर्कुलर का हिस्सा माना जाएगा।
