.LIC agent is a person who is familiar with the know-hows of all the policies and the nature of policies. LIC agents help families and individuals with different insurance policies to give them protection of life, health and property. They sell policies depending on the policyholder’s living and economic conditions.

Minimum Eligibility for LIC Agent Post
- Minimum Educational Qualification: HSC (10+2 pass)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years (No Upper Age Limit)

Documents to be submitted
- 8 passport size photographs (with white background)
- SSC and HSC certificate (2 copies)

IRDA Training
A 50 hours training is compulsory before attending the IRDA exam. This training takes place at the Agents’ Training Centre (ATC) and Divisional Training Centre (DTC) of LIC and gives the students education about the LIC policies, aims, plans, etc.Benefits for Training
